The fun and frenzy of bridal show day is over, and now, you are sitting on your couch with a bag full of information. Once you get home from the show, you will probably be exhausted and possibly a little overwhelmed by all of the resources and vendor information you now have. Because we want you to get the most out of your Pink Bridal Show experience, here are a few tips to help you get organized and know exactly what to do in the weeks following the show.
1. Utilize Show Materials
The first step to making the most of your bridal show experience (other than taking a deep breath!) is to organize and utilize your show materials. Once you’ve organized your pamphlets, cards and flyers, use the vendor list inside your show program to follow up with the ones you were the most interested in. Also, look through your new copy of your local Pink Bride magazine for additional fabulous leads!
2. Check Your Email
In the weeks following the show, make sure you frequently check the email address you used to register for the show–you don’t want to miss any additional opportunities and deals from your favorite vendors. In addition, bookmark our Show-Only deals blogs to help you remember any specials that will continue to run for a certain period following show day. Also, this is a great time to email vendors with any questions you may have thought of following the show.
3. Use our Planning Tools
Especially after a bridal show, it is crucial to utilize your planning tools in order to stay organized and on task. Whether you purchase a planner or create your own binder, make sure you keep all your information in one place. Also, check out our Planning page for all kinds of free planning tools to help you with any aspect of your wedding planning journey.
4. Model Your Pink Shirt
You’ve been to the show and had a blast with your friends and family. Now, it is time to sport you adorable Pink Bride t-shirts and show off your soon-to-be-Mrs. status! Also, don’t forget to keep up with your shirt if you plan to attend any of our other shows this year! Wear your shirt to another Pink Bridal Show and get free admission!
PLEASE NOTE: Shirts from the Pink Shirt Collection will no longer grant the wearer free admission to Pink Bridal Shows after March 2014. The purchase of a show ticket is required for admission.
5. Research, Interview, Book!
The final and most important step after you attend any of our bridal shows is to research the vendors you met and book with them. Once you have researched the vendors you need, narrow down you final selections based on your preferential criteria. Set appointments with your preferred vendors to interview them and find the vendor who is the best fit for you and your big day. Then, it is time to book!! Remember, these vendors had a lot interested brides talk with them at the show, and, chances are, one of them might have the same date as you! So, it is crucial that you begin contacting your vendors early and stay in touch regarding the availability of your date.
